Idli Chilli Fry | Fusion Food | Simple Vegan Recipe | Deliciousfooddude

Hey,
How's it going people? Hope all is well and today's recipe is something which was conjured up by some cook in a restaurant who thought why not just mix and match? The result of that has been great and people especially in Mumbai are fans of this fusion creation for the longest time.

I remember having this as a kid at the local restaurant which served everything possible under one roof right from idli-dosa, pizza-burgers and ofcourse desi Indian Chinese food. Idli is something that is my go-to thing to order when I am hungry and it had been a while since I ate this and to break the monotony of eating the same thing every week, this came as a breath of fresh air.

List Of Ingredients
Leftover Idli 3-4
Capsicum
Onions
Garlic
Schezwan Sauce
Chilli sauce

Cooking Process
Usually, this is not made with fresh Idli so the use of leftover is the best. Cut them into strips and then fry them till golden brown. Now in a separate pan add oil, garlic and cook it for 2-3 mins, then add the onions and capsicum cook them. Next up add the fried idli to the mixture and then add the Schezwan sauce and Chilli sauce to the whole mixture. Mix them well together, cover it and let it cook for 5 mins on low flame and voila it's done.
